The finale of The Teen World 2012 Competition was held at the Hilton Post Oak in Houston, Texas on August 5, 2011. Gabriele Marinho, Teen Brazil-World, was the winner. The 4th runner up was Teen Canada-World – Lauren Howe, 3rd runner up Teen Guatemala-World – Carmen De Ramirez, 2nd runner up was Teen USA-World – Devin Gant and 1st runner up was Teen India-World – Emily Shah.
Teen Brazil-World, Gabriele Marinho won the most photogenic award. Gabriele is a 17-year-old model and high school senior from the town of Maceio, the capital and largest city of Alagoas, Brazil. She’ll spend her year promoting the Teen World Competition and their motto “Be Your Own Kind of Beautiful”.
Gabriele won a prize package valued over $30,000 including a $5,000 educational scholarship. The crown, cash, wardrobe, jewelry, media training and travel opportunities are just some of the luxuries she will experience during her year.
