The 30 contestants for Miss República Portuguesa 2011 are already chosen. The pageant will be held at the Olga Cadaval Cultural Center in Sintra on August 27. The overall winner will be crowned Miss Mundo Portugal 2011 and will represent Portugal in Miss World 2011 in London, England on November 6. The runners-up will attend other international pageants. One of them will go to Miss International 2011 in Chengdu, China. Contestants from the 18 districts of Portugal, 10 foreign Portuguese communities, Madeira and the Azores will compete at the national pageant.
